Our First Annual Lex's Run was a great success despite the rain! Our runners and walkers endured quite the downpouring! Regradless, everyone was in great spirits, and enjoyed themselves. Afterwards, we enjoyed a fabulous barbeque to help us refuel. I cannot thank every one enough for all your help, support and donations! Due to everyone pulling together we have raised over $4000 to go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association! What an amazing feat!!

I would love to take a moment to give a special thanks and praise again to Doug for his unwavering support. He was the person who really took my idea and ran with it. With out him and his work, this event would never have taken place. So, Doug, thank you!!!!!

Next year is already in the planning. Bigger. Better. We are seeking out some great courses to run. We decided on another 5k. 10k will wait another year.  But now with the knowledge of our first one, we can now plan a better run. Stay tuned for that!
